The Executioner-That's Me

 I've heard the words so many time
Sticks and stones shall break ones bones
But words will never hurt me
I'd rather have my bones all broke
Then deal with words that scar me.

I've lived my life as best I can
Choosing words with lots of rhyme
Love thy neighbor I was taught
Never dreamed I'd er be called
The ‘executioner' or better still ‘Ms Hitler'

Now as I start each day of mine
The scars run deep within this soul
I try to shake them off you see
Don't believe they were meant to be
But words they were that scarred me.
